MERYCARE  Anti-Hairball Malt Paste for Cats, Complementary Feed.

It is used to meet the daily malt needs of cats.   1 gr ( approximately 1 cm) per day.

The appropriate portion size can be easily adjusted using the injector scale .

- Cats have their own daily grooming routine. During their grooming sessions, they pick up a lot of dead hair that travels through their digestive tract and can form clumps. These clumps can be large or small depending on the amount of hair swallowed. These clumps are called hairballs.

- The hairball can then form in the intestines, stomach or even the esophagus. If the cat coughs, wheezes and easily expels the hairball, this means that the hairball has not passed through the esophagus. If instead the cough is accompanied by nausea, loss of appetite and vomiting of half-digested food, the hairball is probably lodged in the stomach or small intestine.

- If the cat starts to suffer from constipation along with loss of appetite, this may be due to a hairball that has settled in the large intestine. Malt Paste helps to remove these hairballs through the digestive system. It does this by acting as a natural laxative in the intestinal transit.
